Last updated October 26, 2026

Scan only what you are allowed to

You may scan websites you own, operate, or have permission to test, such as a client's site under an engagement. Do not scan sites without authorization or use credentials you are not entitled to use.

Prohibited uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Overload, attack, probe for vulnerabilities in, or disrupt any website, including by scanning at volumes intended to degrade it.
  • Scrape or harvest data from third-party sites for purposes unrelated to accessibility testing.
  • Bypass logins, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, robots exclusions, or other access controls without the site owner's permission.
  • Scan pages that contain health, financial, or other sensitive personal data unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
  • Violate any law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Upload malware or content that is illegal, abusive, or exploitative.
  • Circumvent plan limits, share accounts to evade billing, or resell the Service without our written agreement.
  • Reverse engineer the Service, or access it through automated means other than our API and MCP server.
  • Misrepresent automated scan results as a certification of legal compliance, or use the Service to make false claims about a website's accessibility.
  • Probe or test the security of the Service without our written permission (see our Security page for responsible disclosure).

Enforcement

We may remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy. Report abuse to contact@thea11ylabs.com.
