InclusivioBot
InclusivioBot runs accessibility checks on web pages for Inclusivio users.
Last updated October 26, 2026
What it is
InclusivioBot loads a page in Chrome and checks it for accessibility problems. A11y Labs, Inc. runs it for Inclusivio users.
When it visits
Only when an Inclusivio user asks to check a page, now or on a schedule. It loads that page and what it needs to render, and does not crawl or follow links.
robots.txt
Before every scan it reads the site's robots.txt and stays away from pages that the rules for InclusivioBot, or for all user agents, disallow. If robots.txt answers with a server error or cannot be reached, it does not scan.
To block it, add this group. To let it scan a site that blocks other bots, use Allow: / instead.
User-agent: InclusivioBot Disallow: /
User agent
Every request it makes carries this user agent:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/120.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 (compatible; InclusivioBot/1.0; +https://www.thea11ylabs.com/legal/bot)
Signed requests
Every request is also signed with Web Bot Auth (HTTP Message Signatures). The Signature-Agent header names https://www.thea11ylabs.com, and the public keys are published at https://www.thea11ylabs.com/.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory. A request that claims to be InclusivioBot without a valid signature is not from us.
